Want to get more involved in the beehive collective? Become a bee!
We need you to join us in pollinating community giving in Raleigh and inspiring new women leaders.
We are looking for inspired and talented young women and men from diverse personal and professional backgrounds to join our hive. We are an equal opportunity group at every level and welcome all with energy and skills to offer our work, regardless of their race, age, gender, religion, sexuality, level of income or education, disability, or immigration status.
To become a bee (member) we ask that you give a half of a percent of your annual income each year and contribute your time and talent to the beehive collective.
How much is 0.5%?
If you make $30,000, it’s $150.
If you make $50,000, it’s $250.
If you make $75,000, it’s $375.
and so on…
We know that this is a meaningful amount to most folks in Raleigh. But the wonderful part is that your contribution adds to the pot that will become at least $20,000 to give to a group doing something amazing in Raleigh that you get to vote on.
Do I have to give 0.5% of my income to become a bee?
In short, yes.
We are confident that individuals all over Raleigh (and the Triangle) will want to support this work – whether through contributions of their own money (honey bees), time, or talent (worker bees).
We also know that there will be folks who want to get really involved in where their money is going – folks who want to donate all of the above. These are the individuals who we are targeting to become bees. It is these incredibly invested individuals who will choose our beneficiary each year.

All you need to do is:
- Fill out our short membership form (here) and
- Make your annual financial contribution. You can do so by either:
- Making a gift online: by visiting http://www.trianglecf.org/ways_to_give/donate_now/, scrolling to the Choose A Fund option, and choosing Beehive Collective from the drop down list OR
- Writing a check: please make checks payable to Triangle Community Foundation with beehivecollective in memo line and send to The Beehive Collective, PO Box 1008, Raleigh, NC 27602 (or just bring it to our next meeting or event).
